Brigitte Alepin is an author, media personality〔http://lesgrandsmoyens.telequebec.tv/episodes/3/#/ (in French)〕 and tax expert born in Quebec in 1966. She holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Université du Québec à Montréal (1986) with an award for excellence, a master's degree in taxation from Université de Sherbrooke (1990) with a grant from the Canadian Research Fund, and a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University (2005). At Harvard, she worked on a special project entitled "The adaptation of our tax systems to globalization." She is the author of two further works, ''La Crise fiscale qui vient'' (''The Coming Fiscal Crisis'') and ''Bill Gates, pay your taxes...just like the rest of us !'', and has made regular appearances on television and radio, as well as being a contributor to several financial publications, including ''Canadian Business'' and ''L'Actualité''. She was a contributor to the Quebec daily ''Le Journal de Montréal'' and to ''CA Magazine'', and has collaborated a number of times with Radio-Canada, particularly on the French-language programs ''Enquête'' and ''Enjeux''.
